California has great surf in the winter. I painted this on a cliff top. The wind almost blew my easel over.

I had a creative breakthrough when I was painting here. One thing that I find interesting is the face that appears in the middle of the painting. It's a state park 10 miles up the road from Ghost Ranch, New Mexico. People like to come here to hear the awesome echoes.
